Well if you’ve read the previous post you’ll be right in thinking I wasn’t happy. A lot has gone on over the last few weeks so I’ll try and place it all together in the correct order.
So yeah, the girl. I really like her, still, but I’m sure that nothing is going to happen. To be honest I’ve been a bit of twat so I need to take steps to address that. Her saying no to my request for a date was the thing that pissed me off the most and started my thoughts of quitting. It really is most annoying that in the 6 years I’ve been in Dundee the first person that I’ve *really* liked said no. We did agree just to be friends, and since then I’ve been on a few nights out with her, and seen her pull a few times. It really annoys me, but I know I don’t have a right to be annoyed at all. I think I need to say a few things to her to clear the air, or at least get some things off my chest. Then I guess I’ll just have to use her as a vector into her friends
After being hot headed for a couple of weeks, I finally plucked up courage and handed in my notice with no clear plan of what to do. I handed my notice in a week and a half ago now… a leaving date still hasn’t been set, although work have said that they don’t want me to work longer than the required months notice.
Last week I spoke to Chief Inspector Fred Hall over at the Scottish Police College regarding the Advance Promotion Scheme for Graduates. Turns out the applications had to be in on Friday the 15th. So I spent a couple of nights running around like a fool to get my application into Tayside police via CI Hall.
I’ve had a few good nights out and I’ll put links up to the pictures later today… In the mean time they can be found in the gallery. Time to pop for the Nether for a cuppa
