Too fucking right! I really do hate football, I think it’s a complete waste of time, but each to their own I guess. The one thing that really winds me up though is the wages these people get. Something in me just finds it wrong that these people get paid so much for kicking about a bit of inflated leather, when people are on the streets, kids aren’t getting the best education or health provision.
Okay I admit, one can’t really equate the failings of government when it comes to providing public services, with the private funding of the players. But come on! £20,000 a week. That’s just taking the piss
