Hrm haven’t been keeping this as upto date as I should… so lets have a think.
Went out on Friday night with Dana, Helen, Rachel some of Allana’s friends (Allana being Liams’ gf) to Abertay Union. Had a few drinks, then left to go to a club. In the end I went back upto DUSA. Here I met a girl called Kerry, got on really well. She invited me to her flat warming party on Monday. In the end she went off somewhere else
When I got back home for some reason I took a mirror off of the wall and stored it away.
Got up Saturday morning and went unicylcying in the city square. You can see the results below! I actually got told off and that I couldn’t ride my unicycle in the city square. Bloody jobs worths.
Got around to packing my bag, and got the train down to Newcastle. I was down in Newcastle for the Intoblue course that I booked a few weeks ago. Once I arrived I looked up the hotel and then wandered upto the Youth Hostel I was staying in. Had a bad nights sleep and then finally got up and went to the course.
It was a really long but good day. Glad I did it, it certainly has opened up a lot of thoughts. The roleplays were by far the best bit of the day. Once the day was over I jumped back on the train and finally got back about 11pm.
Monday was a nice lazy day. Got up late and went on a unicycle ride over to Charles’ and Neills’. Charles was kind enough to cook a bacon butty, whilst I looked at buying a double decker bus off of eBay. ![]()
In the evening I went to the flat warming party at Kerrys’. Was a really good night, met a lot of cool people and really enjoyed myself. Pics in the usual place.
Congratulations (if that’s the right word, for continuing the survival of the species) to Scott and Gwen . Here’s hoping that the little gnipper doesn’t keep you awake too much
Yes it’s old, yes it’s childish, but on the spur of the moment, Dana and I decided to add our pictures to Hot or Not, and to make things interesting we put a bet on it…..
Vote for Dana here, currently sitting about 7.2 if you want to see me, you’ll just have to be lucky
Also had my appraisal which was fair, and I agree with it. I’d still better get a good raise at the end of the month tho
I’ve also booked a course with IntoBlue next weekend. Heading down to Newcastle on the Saturday.
Got some pics from the Vis Christmas party, I didn’t take these shots, no idea who did. But I’ve uploaded them anyway. Check ‘em out here.
PS - I haven’t quit and I doubt I will
I’m toying with the idea of quiting work, I suppose I’d better wait until after my review, to see how I feel. But I will need money, so maybe pop down to the job center. Oh eck!
Well happy New year and all that gubbins. Over the two weeks I was at home I really couldn’t be bothered updating things here, and to be honest I can’t be bothered that much now.
We went down to my Aunts for Christmas which was okay, nothing special. To be honest I was in a very odd mood for the whole of the holiday. Anyway I’ll try and think of things chronologically.
Went over to the Edinburgh offices of work, which are very nice. Then headed to the Christmas party at the Zinc bar and grill in Ocean Terminal. Got very very drunk. And very little photographic evidence exists.
I woke up early in the morning still as pissed as a fart. I managed to get my flight with Easyjet, but to be honest they would of been well within their rights to refuse to let me travel. Once I got home I promptly went up stairs to sleep.
Managed to see a few people in the pub before I went down south. I didn’t take any pics there. Christmas itself was a bit of damp squib. Not sure why. Headed back upto Burton on the Sunday.
Once back in Burton not a lot happened. Didn’t do anything for new year, although it sounds like a fair amount of stuff was rained off.
Right can’t think of much more.
Onto newer stuff that is in my memory. Got back on Sunday. Mondaay I went out with Dana to the pub and then met up with Rach, Ben, Dan, Helen, Doug and various others in the Bread. Work is shit (already) and I’m working late. That about sums it up. Talking of work I’d better stop typing this and finish what I have to done for tomorrow. ![]()
